What is flowkey Plus?
flowkey Plus is a monthly subscription that gives you everything you need to learn piano: a high-quality Yamaha piano to play, plus access to Premium songs and courses to learn with.How does it work?
- Choose the piano that best suits you. To make the decision easier for you, we’ve included pictures, videos, and sound samples.
- Click on Order now and complete your checkout.
- The first month of your subscription will be charged immediately. After that, you’ll be charged on a monthly basis.
- You’ll have immediate access to flowkey Premium content in the app. The piano will be delivered to you in 3-4 business days.
Where is flowkey Plus available?
flowkey Plus is currently only available to residents of the following countries:
- Belgium
- France
- Germany
- Netherlands
- Spain
Is there a minimum commitment?
There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel your subscription on a monthly basis. If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can do this directly in the app. You’ll select a date for the collection of the piano. You won’t have any additional costs.
What happens if my piano stops working?
With flowkey Plus, you always have the right to a functional piano. So if there's anything wrong with your instrument, we'll replace it for you and collect the defective one. Simply email support@flowkey.com and we’ll resolve the issue for you.
2.Starting a flowkey Plus subscription
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following payment methods:
- VISA, MasterCard, and American Express
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
When will I be charged?
You’ll be charged for your first month of the subscription as soon as you complete your order. Your subscription will then renew monthly. For instance, if you start your subscription on the third of the month, we will bill you on the third of every month as long as your subscription is active.
How long does delivery take?
Here are the delivery times for each country in which flowkey Plus in available:
- Belgium: 3–4 business days
- France: 4–5 business days
- Germany: 4–5 business days
- Netherlands: 3–4 business days
- Spain: 5–6 business days
Do I have to pay for delivery?
There are no delivery fees. All flowkey Plus subscriptions include free delivery of the piano.
How will my piano be delivered?
We use DPD to deliver the piano. All pianos available with flowkey Plus can be safely lifted and carried by one person.
Do I need to assemble my piano?
Our pianos do not require assembly. However, if your subscription includes a matching stand, please note that the stand itself requires some basic assembly. This is a simple task typically performed by one person and takes fewer than 10 minutes. You will need a cross-head screwdriver for this.
What should I do with the packaging?
Please keep the original packaging in which the piano was delivered. If you decide to cancel your subscription, the piano must be repackaged using the original materials, including the inner packaging.
3.flowkey Premium access
How do I get access to flowkey Premium?
Once you've completed your purchase and your order has been confirmed, your account will automatically be upgraded to access flowkey Premium songs and courses. You don't need to do anything else. If you have difficulties gaining access, please email support@flowkey.com.
4.Owning your piano after 12 months
What happens after 12 months? Does the piano belong to me?
If you wish to keep the piano after 12 months, you can buy it for a symbolic price of €1, including VAT. This small transaction is necessary for us to comply with tax regulations and to transfer legal ownership of the instrument to you.
Completing the process and transferring ownership of the piano to you is very simple:- Open Settings in the flowkey app and go to Your Account. Here, click on Purchase My Piano.
- You will be redirected to the purchase process, where you can make your payment of €1, including VAT.
- After the payment is made, you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice.
- That’s it! The piano is now yours to keep.
What happens to my subscription after I have purchased my piano?
Once you've purchased your piano, your subscription will automatically convert to flowkey Premium only. You will be charged €29,99 per month, including VAT, until you cancel your subscription. To cancel your flowkey Premium subscription, simply go to Your Account in the app settings and select Unsubscribe.5.Defects and Damage
What happens if my piano arrives damaged?
Please carefully inspect the piano upon its arrival. If you notice any visible damages or suspect that something is not right, please contact support@flowkey.com. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If a defect is confirmed, we will promptly deliver a replacement and arrange for the collection of the damaged piano.
Please note: If the outer box appears damaged, it doesn't necessarily mean that the piano itself is damaged. Our pianos are provided with extensive, custom-fitted inner packaging to protect the instrument during transportation. Therefore, we kindly ask you to check whether the piano itself is damaged before contacting us.What happens if there’s an issue with my piano later?
If you discover a defect or accidentally damage the piano, we’ve got you covered. Just contact us by emailing support@flowkey.com and we'll take care of it.
- In the case of defect, we'll send you a replacement piano and arrange for the pickup of the defective one. If it's a manufacturing fault that occurred from normal use of the piano, there will be no fees or costs for you.
- In the case of accidental damage (dropping the piano, spilling a drink on it, etc.), we're happy to send you a replacement. There will simply be a one-time fee of €89,99, including VAT, to cover the costs of exchanging your instrument:
- €6,00 for shipping the replacement piano
- €24,00 for the collection of the damaged piano
- €59,99 for the repair of the damaged piano
Please note: If the piano is replaced due to a manufacturing defect, but our repair diagnosis reveals damage caused by improper use (e.g., internal water damage), we will consider the case as user-caused damage and reserve the right to charge a fee of €89,99, including VAT, in line with the above description.
6.Canceling your flowkey Plus subscription
Is there a minimum commitment?
There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel flowkey Plus at any time on a monthly basis. Once your subscription expires, you won’t receive any further charges.How do I cancel my subscription and what happens after?
- Open Settings in the flowkey app and go to Your Account. From there, you can tap on Unsubscribe.
- The end date of your subscription will be displayed. Until then, you can continue to use the piano and flowkey Premium content.
- Let us know when we can collect the piano from your home. Simply choose a date from the available dates displayed. You cannot cancel your subscription without choosing a collection date.
- Confirm the address we can collect the piano from. You will have a chance to review everything before confirming your subscription cancellation.
- After you’ve successfully canceled your subscription, you’ll receive an email with full instructions on how to prepare the piano for collection.
- Once your subscription expires, you will no longer have Premium access in the app. You will not be charged again.
- We’ll collect the piano from you on the date you’ve selected.
Please note: If you do not allow us to collect the piano from you after you’ve canceled your subscription, we reserve the right to continue charging monthly fees until we’ve successfully recovered the instrument.
My piano collection didn’t take place. What do I do now?
If there are any issues with the piano collection, please contact us as quickly as possible by emailing support@flowkey.com. We will then inquire with our courier service and find a solution. If the courier was unable to make the appointment, we will get in touch with you to confirm and schedule a new collection date.
If the collection was prevented by you—for example, if you weren't available on the agreed date or the piano wasn't ready for collection—there may be a fee of €24,00, including VAT, to cover the costs of a rescheduled collection.What happens if I subscribe and then change my mind?
If you subscribe to a paid subscription, you have the right to change your mind and receive a full refund within 14 days of the piano delivery. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and receive a full refund, you must allow us to collect the piano from your location as soon as possible.
If you wish to cancel your subscription under the terms of the cooling-off period, please email us at support@flowkey.com.
We'll arrange the collection of the instrument and send you the necessary information.
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return and inform you whether the refund has been approved. Please understand that we need to inspect the returned items to ensure they are in “like-new” condition.
If the return is approved, you'll automatically receive a refund to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
